Did you know wax has memory? This is why the very first burn is the most important! You need to make sure during the first burn that you allow the wax to fully melt to the edge of the container (Approx 4 hours). If you don't do this you will end up with tunnelling and your candle will never melt to the full extent in subsequent burns. Therefore, you will be wasting valuable wax and shortening the life of your candle!
*shown is an example of tunnelling with a tester candle.
Wick cutter- it is essential you cut your wick before each use removing any charred wood. The wick should be about 1/4" before each use.
Candle snuffer- when extinguishing your candle make sure you use a candle snuffer; it will control putting out the flame and avoid blowing any charred wood pieces into your candle.
Burn in 2-4 hour increments (do not burn longer than 4 hours).
Always burn within sight and watch children and pets around the candle!
