Candle Care

The first burn:
This is the most important burn. You must burn your candle until the wax has fully melted to the edge of the vessel (approx. 4 hours). If you do not do this it will cause tunneling and shorten the lifespan of your candle.

Burn times:
Burn your candle in 2-4 hour increments, do not exceed 4 hours.

Wick:
Always cut your wick before each use to remove any charred wood. The wick should be about 1/4" before each use.

Putting out your candle:
When extinguishing your candle make sure you use a wick snuffer- it will control putting the flame out and avoid blowing any charred wood pieces into your candle.

Supervision:
NEVER leave your candle unattended or near/on surfaces that can catch fire. Be especially careful burning your candle around children and pets to avoid the candle being knocked over or touched.
